Private Jet Greenwich to Horseshoe Bay Resort

Westchester County Airport, serving Greenwich and the wider Connecticut Gold Coast, sits about 1,356 nautical miles from Horseshoe Bay Resort on Lake LBJ in the Texas Hill Country. A mid-size or super mid-size jet, a Citation Latitude or Challenger 350 among the likely choices, covers the distance in roughly two and a half hours at a cruise near 43,000 feet, tracking south over the Appalachians and the Deep South before descending toward the Hill Country. Greenwich remains one of the wealthiest towns in the United States, its estates and hedge-fund offices concentrated within easy reach of Westchester’s well-appointed private aviation terminal. Horseshoe Bay Resort offers a leisure-focused counterpart, three championship golf courses and a busy marina, along with a private runway that lets arriving guests bypass the ground transport a more distant regional airport would require. This pairing suits finance and business executives looking to combine a golf retreat with continued proximity to markets back East, as well as families with homes or club memberships in both regions. A direct charter from Westchester avoids the congestion of the major New York airports and any connection through Dallas that a commercial itinerary would involve, and the aircraft’s cabin, typically arranged in a club configuration with a divan, gives a small working group room to review documents en route rather than simply passing the time. The route also sees steady traffic around major golf weekends at the resort, when Greenwich-based groups prefer a private departure timed precisely to their schedule rather than working around a limited set of commercial connections.
