Private Jet Jeddah to Cavallo

Jeddah to Cavallo covers roughly 1,929 nautical miles, comfortably flown by a mid-size jet such as the Challenger 350 or Citation Longitude, both cruising at altitudes up to 45,000 feet on a nonstop sector that typically runs just under four hours across the eastern Mediterranean toward the strait. King Abdulaziz International Airport handles substantial private aviation traffic, with facilities well suited to the seasonal surge in departures during the Saudi summer, when many travellers head to Europe to escape the Gulf’s peak heat. A short helicopter transfer at the destination end completes the journey to Cavallo, a granite island within the Lavezzi Nature Reserve in the Strait of Bonifacio, positioned between Corsica and Sardinia, since no runway serves the island directly. Jeddah’s role as a gateway to the Red Sea and its rapidly evolving skyline give way, over the course of the flight, to Cavallo’s fixed, unchanging simplicity, where a handful of villas and one respected restaurant make up the entirety of what has been built. Saudi travellers increasingly favour this kind of understated European retreat, drawn to Cavallo’s genuine privacy over destinations that have grown more crowded and more visible in recent seasons. The mid-size jet’s cabin offers solid comfort for a sector of this length, striking a practical balance between range and efficiency. Booking well ahead of the peak July and August period remains advisable given both the distance involved and the island’s inherently limited capacity. Jeddah’s private terminals also tend to process outbound international charters quickly even during the busiest summer weeks, helping keep the overall journey efficient despite the distance still ahead once airborne.
