Private Jet Lake Como to Montauk

Lake Como sits some 3398 nautical miles from Montauk, a distance that private charter renders straightforward. Lake Como is the glamorous Italian lake ringed by belle epoque villas beneath the foothills of the Alps, and its lakeside towns and formal gardens have drawn European aristocracy and travellers for well over a century. A Gulfstream G280 is typically recommended for this itinerary, whose range comfortably covers the distance with reserves to allow for weather or routing changes. Departure is typically arranged from Milan Malpensa Airport, keeping ground time to a minimum before wheels-up. Inside, a full galley and berthing seats mean the sector can double as a chance to arrive rested rather than depleted. Ground handling at both ends is arranged in advance, so the transition from tarmac to car is typically a matter of minutes. Scheduling remains the chief advantage over commercial alternatives, since a private departure can be set to the traveller’s timetable rather than an airline’s. On arrival, travellers find Montauk’s grass runway set among rolling moorland, a short drive from the bluffs of Montauk Point State Park. Beyond the beaches, the surrounding waters are well known among sport fishermen chasing striped bass and tuna through the warmer months. It appeals equally to business travellers chasing efficiency and leisure guests keen to begin their trip the moment they step aboard. Demand on this pairing tends to build around peak seasonal travel windows, when advance planning pays off. It is a route as suited to a single executive keeping to a tight calendar as to a family travelling together with all their luggage.
