Private Jet Marrakech to Tempe

Marrakesh Menara Airport sits at the foot of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains, the gateway to a walled medina whose souks, riads and the nightly spectacle of Jemaa el-Fnaa square have made Marrakech one of North Africa’s most visited cities. The sector onward to Tempe covers approximately 5,005 nautical miles, a distance comfortably handled by a heavy jet such as the Gulfstream G550 or Bombardier Global 6000, cruising near 45,000 feet for a flight that typically runs close to nine hours. The routing crosses the Atlantic before tracing a path over the eastern United States and descending into the Arizona desert, replacing Marrakech’s terracotta walls and mountain backdrop with Tempe’s saguaro-studded foothills and the modern energy of Arizona State University’s campus. Leisure travellers extending a Moroccan holiday, along with a smaller number of business travellers in textiles and tourism, make up much of the demand on this pairing. A direct charter avoids the Paris, Madrid or Casablanca connection that a commercial itinerary from Marrakech would typically require, consolidating what might otherwise be a full day of travel into a single continuous sector. Cabin altitude held near the equivalent of 6,000 feet, standard on newer long-range aircraft, noticeably eases the fatigue that can accompany a transatlantic crossing of this length, a detail worth weighing when comparing aircraft types available for charter. Many travellers extend their stay in Arizona with a few days at one of Scottsdale’s resort properties, trading one set of mountains for another and one ancient marketplace for the modern restaurants along Mill Avenue. A number of itineraries also build in a short stop in Fez or Casablanca beforehand, extending the Moroccan leg before the long crossing west begins.
