Private Jet Milan to Mountain Air Country Club

The 2,781 nautical miles between Milan and Mountain Air Country Club fall comfortably within reach of a super mid-size jet such as the Gulfstream G280 or Challenger 350, aircraft chosen for this route as much for cabin comfort on a long day of flying as for outright range. Cruising near the mid-40,000-foot band lets the crew stay ahead of much of the North Atlantic’s weather, smoothing out what is otherwise a demanding transatlantic sector. Milan Malpensa Airport serves as the departure point, convenient for guests coming from the city’s fashion houses, La Scala, or the lakes of Como and Maggiore nearby. On the other side of the Atlantic, the private airstrip at Mountain Air Country Club opens directly onto a gated community built around a mountaintop course in the Blue Ridge Mountains, with Mount Mitchell, the highest point east of the Mississippi, rising close by. The club’s elevation keeps summer temperatures markedly milder than the surrounding lowlands, a fact regulars often mention as central to its appeal. Asheville, known for its art galleries, breweries, and mountain-town character, lies within a short drive for those wanting to venture beyond the gates. This pairing suits members and owners whose year moves between Milanese business and social calendars and a private North Carolina retreat, offering a direct route that avoids the connections and delays of commercial travel. For a family arriving ahead of golf season, or simply returning from a European trip, the route delivers guests from the runway straight into the club’s own quiet corner of the mountains.
