Private Jet Novosibirsk to Serengeti

Departing Tolmachevo Airport, the flight to the Serengeti carries passengers roughly 4,163 nautical miles, from Novosibirsk in western Siberia across the Middle East and down through Africa to the heart of Tanzania’s wildlife country. A heavy jet is well matched to the distance, with the Gulfstream G550 or Bombardier Global 6000 offering the range for a non-stop crossing and a cabin comfortable for the many hours in the air, cruising at altitudes up to 45,000 feet for an efficient passage. Tolmachevo’s long runways and full services make it a practical starting point for a sector of this scale. Seronera Airstrip, the arrival point, sits in the central Serengeti, within easy reach of camps built around the ecosystem’s most reliable game-viewing areas. Lion prides frequently rest among the granite kopjes scattered near the airstrip, and the surrounding plains support consistent sightings of elephant, giraffe and buffalo throughout the year. During the migration season, the area becomes one of the best-placed points from which to witness the passage of wildebeest and zebra across the grassland. Given the scarcity of convenient scheduled connections between Siberia and East Africa, a private charter on this route offers a considerable advantage, replacing what would otherwise be a lengthy, multi-stop journey with a single continuous flight, arriving with guests rested and ready for the plains. Beyond the well-known predator sightings, the reserve’s river systems and alkaline lakes support notable birdlife, from fish eagles to flamingos, giving guests arriving from Siberia plenty to explore beyond the first afternoon’s game drive. Elephant, giraffe and buffalo are also commonly seen on the plains close to the landing strip, rounding out a game-viewing circuit that rewards visitors at any time of year, not only during the peak migration months.
