Private Jet Nursultan to Bakersfield

Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport, serving Kazakhstan’s futuristic capital on the northern steppe, is the starting point for a 5,588 nautical mile journey to Bakersfield, California, a distance suited to an ultra-long-range aircraft such as the Gulfstream G650ER or Bombardier Global 7500, both capable of completing the sector nonstop while cruising near 45,000 feet for an efficient transit across Central Asia, Europe and the Atlantic. The capital, still widely known by its former name Astana, is defined by striking modern architecture, including a golden-domed presidential palace and a soaring observation tower, all built at speed on the flat Kazakh steppe over the past few decades. The flight climbs out over the steppe before tracking west across Central Asia, Europe, the Atlantic and the American continent, a journey of roughly ten and a half hours that benefits considerably from a stand-up cabin, a proper bed and full galley service given the duration involved. Landing at Meadows Field Airport brings passengers into Bakersfield, the agricultural and energy heart of Kern County, a flat valley of orchards and oil derricks that, in its own way, mirrors the wide-open, resource-driven landscape surrounding Kazakhstan’s capital, even as the climate and terrain differ entirely. This route serves a small number of travellers with energy, government or trade interests linking Kazakhstan’s capital with California’s Central Valley, and given the total absence of scheduled commercial service connecting these two specific points, a private charter is the only realistic way to complete the journey without the multiple long-haul connections through a Gulf or European hub that a commercial routing would otherwise demand, saving the better part of a day.
