Private Jet Orlando to Capri

Orlando and Capri are separated by around 5,240 nautical miles, a heavy-jet sector well matched to the Gulfstream G550 or Bombardier Global 6000, both cruising up to 45,000 feet with ample range for a crossing of this length. Orlando International Airport serves Florida’s theme park capital, a city built almost entirely around leisure and hospitality, its year-round warmth and constant flow of visitors giving it a very different rhythm from the quieter, seasonal pace of the island awaiting at journey’s end. Given that Capri Heliport cannot handle aircraft of this size, most itineraries land first at Naples, with a short helicopter transfer completing the final approach to the island, arriving above the Faraglioni with the whole sweep of the bay visible below. Once ashore, the Piazzetta becomes the natural evening destination, its cafés filling as the light fades over Marina Piccola, while the Blue Grotto remains an essential half-day excursion for first-time visitors. A funicular railway connects the harbour to Capri town above. This pairing suits families and travellers exchanging Orlando’s theme parks for an altogether different, more understated kind of holiday, valued for turning what would otherwise be a long, multi-stop commercial routing into a single seamless private sector with a departure time set entirely around the family’s own schedule. Younger travellers in particular tend to notice the difference between a private cabin and the long queues of a major Florida terminal during the peak holiday season, when Orlando’s airport can be one of the busiest in the country and even a short domestic connection can eat up half a travel day.
