Private Jet Palawan to Alexandria

Palawan to Alexandria is a considerable undertaking at approximately 5,040 nautical miles, requiring an ultra-long-range jet such as the Gulfstream G650ER, flying nonstop in around nine and three-quarter hours while cruising at altitudes up to 45,000 feet across South Asia, the Arabian Peninsula and the Red Sea. Puerto Princesa International Airport, gateway to Palawan’s celebrated limestone karsts and the UNESCO-listed Puerto Princesa Underground River, handles a comparatively modest volume of private aviation traffic, so early coordination with ground handlers and fuel suppliers is worthwhile for a departure of this scale. The route tracks west across South and Central Asia before crossing the Arabian Peninsula and descending into Borg El Arab International Airport on Egypt’s Mediterranean coast. Palawan’s turquoise lagoons and pristine reefs give way, after a genuinely long crossing, to Alexandria’s own layered Mediterranean history, where the Bibliotheca Alexandrina stands as a modern homage to the ancient world’s most celebrated library and the Qaitbay Citadel guards the harbour on the site of the fabled Lighthouse of Pharos. Alexandria’s cosmopolitan character, shaped by Greek, Roman and Ottoman rule, offers a striking historical counterpoint to Palawan’s untouched natural landscapes. This pairing is a rare one, typically arising from bespoke itineraries linking Southeast Asian island escapes with wider Middle Eastern or North African travel, and given the distance involved, a full rest period on arrival in Alexandria is strongly advisable before any engagements are scheduled. Given the remoteness of Puerto Princesa’s runway infrastructure relative to the scale of this journey, most operators will insist on a thorough technical survey of the departure airport well before confirming final trip logistics.
