Private Jet Punta Mita to Horseshoe Bay Resort

Licenciado Gustavo Diaz Ordaz International Airport, serving Punta Mita on Mexico’s Pacific coast, is about 704 nautical miles from Horseshoe Bay Resort in the Texas Hill Country. A light jet such as a Phenom 300 or Citation CJ4 handles the crossing easily, cruising near 39,000 feet and completing the flight in roughly ninety minutes over the Sea of Cortez and northern Mexico. Punta Mita has developed into one of the Pacific coast’s most exclusive resort enclaves, its Jack Nicklaus courses laid out along dramatic ocean bluffs and its beaches favoured by an international set that values seclusion. Horseshoe Bay Resort offers a Hill Country counterpart with three championship courses of its own and a busy marina on Lake LBJ, its private airstrip letting arriving guests avoid any further drive. The route suits golf travellers who already know Punta Mita’s oceanfront holes and want to compare them against the Hill Country’s lake-adjacent layouts, as well as families with property interests on both coasts. A direct charter bypasses the connection through a major hub that commercial scheduling would otherwise demand for this specific pairing, and the modest flight time makes it realistic to treat the two resorts as part of a single, continuous golf-focused trip rather than two entirely separate journeys. Because both airports handle private aviation efficiently, ground time on either end tends to be minimal, and the whole journey from villa to clubhouse can typically be completed within a few hours door to door, including boarding and disembarkation. It is efficiency that leaves more of the day for the ocean or the fairway rather than for transit.
