Private Jet Savannah to Montauk

Savannah and Montauk are separated by roughly 695 nautical miles, connecting Georgia’s historic coastal city with the eastern tip of Long Island. Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport serves a city famous for its cobblestone squares, Spanish moss-draped oaks and a well-preserved antebellum architecture that draws visitors year-round from across the American South. A crossing of this length suits a light jet, and the Citation CJ4 or Phenom 300 complete the roughly one-and-a-half-hour flight comfortably, climbing into the low forties for a smooth ride up the Eastern Seaboard. The category’s cabin suits the families and small groups typical of this corridor well. On arrival, Montauk Airport places guests close to a working harbour, a historic lighthouse and quiet beaches, a considerable change from Savannah’s genteel, tree-lined squares. No scheduled airline offers a convenient direct link between these two destinations, so private charter spares travellers a connection through Charlotte or a major New York airport. The route suits Southern hospitality and tourism-industry travellers based around Savannah who also maintain a presence in the Hamptons, particularly during the humid peak of a Georgia summer, when a coastal escape to Long Island holds especially strong appeal for those seeking cooler air. Wedding season along the historic squares also drives a steady stream of guests making this same crossing each spring and autumn. It remains a graceful, direct alternative to a multi-leg commercial itinerary. It suits both business travellers and leisure guests equally well. The route continues to grow in popularity each season. Guests routinely book it well ahead of the summer season.
