Private Jet Staniel Cay to Huntington Beach

Staniel Cay, a tiny settlement in the heart of the Exuma chain, lies about 2,242 nautical miles from Huntington Beach, a sector flown in roughly four hours and fifteen minutes by a mid-size jet. Cruise altitudes in the 39,000 to 43,000-foot range suit this category well, offering an efficient balance of speed and fuel economy across a route that crosses the Gulf of Mexico before tracking west over the American Southwest. Flights depart the famously short runway at Staniel Cay Airport, the gateway to the island best known for its swimming pigs at Big Major Cay and the underwater grotto made famous by a Bond film. Few departure points on this list offer quite such a contrast with the arrival city: Huntington Beach’s identity rests entirely on its surf, with a mile-long pier, a broad sandy beach, and an annual competition that draws the sport’s best competitors each summer. John Wayne Airport receives flights, placing Orange County’s business parks and the yacht harbours of Newport Beach close at hand. The route suits yacht owners and charter guests cruising the Exuma cays who maintain a home or office on the West Coast, as well as Californians chasing Staniel Cay’s particular brand of barefoot, off-grid luxury. Given the limited length and surface of Staniel Cay’s runway, careful aircraft selection and advance coordination with The Jet Collection are essential to ensure a smooth and properly planned departure for every guest, whatever the season of travel happens to be, and whichever direction the journey is flown.
