Private Jet Staniel Cay to Paradise Valley

Staniel Cay to Paradise Valley covers roughly 1,947 nautical miles, a sector suited to a Mid-Size Jet such as the Citation Latitude, completing the crossing in around three and three-quarter hours while cruising near 45,000 feet. Staniel Cay Airport serves one of the most sought-after small islands in the Exuma chain, best known among boaters for the nearby Thunderball Grotto and a marina culture built almost entirely around private yachts. Arrival into Scottsdale Airport delivers passengers into Paradise Valley, trading Staniel Cay’s tight-knit boating community for the desert resort spas and golf courses beneath the McDowell Mountains. At under four hours, a well-provisioned Mid-Size cabin handles the sector comfortably, offering enough space and galley service for a relaxed transition between two very different, low-key retreats. This route serves almost exclusively yacht owners, charter guests and repeat visitors to Staniel Cay’s marina, a genuinely small and specialised community for whom scheduled air service is essentially non-existent beyond limited regional hops. Chartering is therefore less a preference than the only realistic way to connect Staniel Cay directly with Arizona, avoiding the multiple short hops through Nassau or Florida that any other routing would require. For boaters whose Exuma season ends with a return to a home base in Paradise Valley, this sector offers a direct and efficient way to make that transition without sacrificing the better part of a travel day to island-hopping connections. The cay’s population numbers only in the low hundreds, and its single small settlement retains a genuinely local character that larger, more developed marinas elsewhere in the Bahamas have largely lost over the past two decades.
