Private Jet St. John’s to Overland Park

St. John’s and Overland Park lie approximately 1,886 nautical miles apart, a distance comfortably suited to mid-size and super mid-size jets such as the Citation Latitude or Bombardier Challenger 350. St. John’s International Airport serves Newfoundland’s capital, North America’s most easterly city and a place where colourful row houses climb the hills above one of the continent’s oldest natural harbours, long a staging point for transatlantic flights during the early twentieth century. Cruising near 43,000 feet across eastern Canada and the Great Lakes, the flight typically runs a little over three and a half hours, comfortable enough on this class of aircraft that a full galley service is rarely necessary. Arrival at Johnson County Executive Airport delivers passengers directly into Overland Park, a Kansas City suburb whose office parks host a growing cluster of healthcare technology and financial services firms, supported by consistently strong public schools. Those with time to spare often continue into Kansas City itself for its fountains, boulevards and celebrated barbecue tradition. This route suits offshore oil and fishing industry executives with interests spanning Newfoundland’s Grand Banks operations and Midwestern industrial or logistics partners, as well as private travellers who prefer a direct sector to the multiple connections a scheduled itinerary through Toronto or Montreal would otherwise require for two markets not otherwise linked by any commercial service. Signal Hill, overlooking the harbour entrance, marks the spot where Marconi received the first transatlantic wireless signal in 1901. The city’s brightly painted Jellybean Row houses have become one of its most photographed sights.
