Private Jet Abacos to Saint Paul

Abacos to Saint Paul covers roughly 1,356 nautical miles, comfortably flown by a Light Jet such as the Citation CJ4 or Phenom 300, with a Mid-Size or Super Mid-Size Jet available for larger groups wanting extra cabin space on the roughly two-and-a-half-hour flight. Departure is from Leonard M. Thompson International Airport, serving the Abaco Islands, a boating and sailing haven in the northern Bahamas known for its pastel-coloured clapboard settlements, historic lighthouses and some of the most protected cruising waters in the Caribbean. Arrival is into Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport, gateway to a Twin Cities region built around twenty-two lakes, a downtown connected by an extensive climate-controlled skyway network, and a business community anchored by major healthcare and retail headquarters. Given the modest distance, the sector is flown non-stop with generous reserves regardless of aircraft category chosen. This route suits sailors and boat owners with vessels based in the Abacos, Midwestern families seeking a quieter alternative to Nassau’s more developed tourist infrastructure, and property owners in communities such as Hope Town and Man-O-War Cay. Rebuilding since the significant hurricane damage sustained in recent years, the islands have seen steady reinvestment in their marina and hospitality infrastructure, and charter remains the most reliable way to reach the area directly given the limited scheduled commercial service. Booking ahead of the winter boating season is advisable given strong seasonal demand. The Abacos’ well-protected Sea of Abaco has long made it one of the most popular bareboat and crewed charter grounds in the Bahamas, and its network of small settlements gives visiting boaters a distinctly New England-inflected architectural character rarely found elsewhere in the islands.
