Private Jet Abu Dhabi to Port Louis

Al Bateen Executive Airport, Abu Dhabi’s dedicated private aviation facility, connects to Port Louis over a sector of around 2,690 nautical miles, comfortably flown in roughly five and a quarter hours by a super mid-size jet such as the Gulfstream G280 or, for a larger party, a heavy jet like the Gulfstream G550. The airport’s streamlined processing, free of commercial terminal congestion, suits Emirati and international principals departing on short notice. Mauritius receives the flight at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, close to Port Louis, where the Blue Penny Museum and Aapravasi Ghat offer two very different windows into the island’s history, from rare philately to the story of indentured labour that shaped its population. The Champ de Mars racecourse continues to draw crowds on race days, and the north-west coast around Grand Baie, thirty minutes from the airport, provides the lagoons and dive sites most associated with the island abroad. Abu Dhabi-based investors with interests in Mauritian real estate or financial services frequently combine business calls in the capital with family time on the coast. The roughly five-hour flight time places this comfortably within a super mid-size cabin’s range, with capacity for a fully flat rest position and enough baggage space for an extended family holiday. Given the limited scheduled service between Abu Dhabi and Mauritius, a chartered aircraft departing from Al Bateen removes the need to route through Dubai or a European hub, saving several hours against most commercial alternatives. Charters from Al Bateen can also be scheduled to fit around a broader Gulf business itinerary, with the same crew and aircraft available for onward or return legs elsewhere in the region, a flexibility that suits principals whose travel rarely follows a simple round-trip pattern.
