Private Jet Amalfi to Lubbock

The Amalfi Coast to Lubbock is among the longer sectors on this list, running approximately 5,137 nautical miles and requiring the better part of ten hours in an ultra-long-range aircraft such as the Bombardier Global 7500. Its cabin, the largest in its category, is divided into distinct living zones, a genuine advantage on a flight this length where passengers benefit from being able to rest properly rather than simply recline a seat. Departures typically route through Naples International Airport, with Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport serving as a closer but more limited alternative for the coastal towns themselves. Lubbock, at journey’s end, is a study in contrast to the cliffside towns of Amalfi and Positano: a flat, agricultural city anchored by Texas Tech University and one of the country’s most productive cotton-growing regions. The city’s connection to musician Buddy Holly, born and raised there, gives it a cultural footnote well beyond its size, and the National Ranching Heritage Center offers insight into the ranching traditions that shaped West Texas. Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport processes long-haul private arrivals efficiently, a welcome relief after a near ten-hour crossing. Given the distance, this route is most often flown by owners repositioning aircraft between a European summer base and business interests in Texas, or by travellers whose itinerary genuinely spans both the Italian coastline and the American Southern Plains within a single trip. The coastal towns of Positano and Ravello, both a short drive from Naples, often feature in the itineraries of travellers using this route, meaning the Amalfi end of the journey is rarely a single stop but part of a broader Italian sojourn before the long Atlantic crossing begins.
