Private Jet Amalfi to Menorca

The route from Amalfi to Menorca spans roughly 487 nautical miles, a flight of about an hour linking Italy’s celebrated coastline with the Balearic Islands. Passengers can depart from either Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport, the closest field to the coast itself, or Naples International Airport, both well accustomed to handling private traffic for guests visiting the cliffside towns of Positano and Ravello. A light jet such as the Phenom 300 or Citation CJ4 suits this distance well, offering quick, efficient transport for smaller groups, while a turboprop like the Pilatus PC-12 remains a sensible option for shorter regional transfers, both types operating comfortably at cruising altitudes that leave ample margin over the western Mediterranean’s typically settled summer weather. Arrival at Menorca Airport delivers guests to an island whose own coastline, while lacking the Amalfi Coast’s dramatic vertical drama, offers something the Italian coast rarely can: genuinely quiet, uncrowded coves such as Cala Macarelleta, protected under strict Biosphere Reserve regulations. Mahón’s natural harbour and Ciutadella’s shaded old town provide two distinct bases for exploring the island further. For clients moving between Italy’s Amalfi Coast and the Balearics as part of a wider Mediterranean summer, this short sector offers a direct, private link that avoids the ferries and connections a non-private routing between the two would typically involve, letting travellers depart precisely when they choose. Summer weekends along the Amalfi Coast see particularly high demand for private departures, so operators recommend confirming an aircraft a few days ahead during the peak July and August season.
