Private Jet Cannes to Tempe

Cannes and Tempe sit 5,110 nautical miles apart, a sector served on this network by a heavy-class jet such as the Gulfstream G450, which cruises at altitudes up to 45,000 feet and covers the distance in around nine and a half hours, its cabin typically split between a forward club section and a rear conference area suited to a full travelling party. Departures run from Cannes Mandelieu Airport, one of Europe’s busiest business aviation airports, with dedicated facilities built to handle the heavy seasonal traffic around the film festival and major yacht shows. Flights typically depart Cannes Mandelieu in the late morning, allowing arrival in Phoenix well before the Arizona evening. Landing into Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, passengers arrive in Tempe, a city anchored by Arizona State University and the waterside development at Tempe Town Lake. Cannes’s film and luxury goods industries have taken a growing interest in Arizona’s own entertainment and resort economy, with a handful of production companies scouting desert locations around Scottsdale and Paradise Valley for commercial shoots. For most passengers, though, the appeal is simpler: trading the French Riviera’s beach clubs for the Sonoran Desert’s dry heat, with golf courses that remain open year-round and the dramatic desert sunsets that draw photographers to South Mountain Park most evenings. A modest number of Riviera-based private equity groups have also begun backing Arizona hospitality and resort developments, treating this corridor as a routine part of due diligence travel rather than an occasional trip. A number of Cannes-based talent agencies have also begun scouting Arizona’s growing film production incentives, adding a further thread to the corridor.
