Private Jet Dubai to Capri

Dubai to Capri spans 2,242 nautical miles, a sector suited to a Gulfstream G280, whose super-mid-size range and cruise ceiling near 45,000 feet allow the crossing to be flown as a single non-stop leg with room to spare. Departing Al Maktoum International Airport, the aircraft tracks northwest across the Arabian Peninsula and the eastern Mediterranean before descending toward the Bay of Naples, a routing that keeps total transit time to a little under five hours. The arrival into Capri Heliport, on the col between Capri town and Anacapri, brings guests into a setting that contrasts sharply with Dubai’s own skyline. Capri’s charm lies in its scale and history rather than its size: the Faraglioni sea stacks, the fourteenth-century Certosa di San Giacomo, and the Piazzetta, where the island’s evening promenade has continued largely unchanged since the 1950s, all sit within a short walk of one another. Dubai’s international business and residency community has increasingly favoured southern Italy as a summer counterpoint to the Gulf’s own considerable heat, and Capri’s compact footprint suits even a short break well, since almost everything of interest lies within a few minutes of the heliport. The G280’s wide cabin cross-section gives guests genuine room to rest across the several-hour crossing, an important consideration on a route of this length where arriving refreshed matters as much as arriving on time. Guests with a spare afternoon often venture up to Anacapri by chairlift, where views across the bay toward Vesuvius offer a quieter contrast to the livelier lanes nearer the Piazzetta below.
