Private Jet Exumas to Oshawa

Exumas to Oshawa runs approximately 1,234 nautical miles, comfortably flown nonstop by a light or mid-size jet such as the Phenom 300 or Citation Sovereign, cruising near 39,000 feet for around two and a quarter hours. Super mid-size aircraft also serve this route when larger parties are travelling together. Exuma Airport, on Great Exuma, is the gateway to a chain of cays renowned for their turquoise shallows and a growing luxury resort presence, alongside a long-standing community of private landowners. Arrival lands passengers at Oshawa Executive Airport on Lake Ontario’s northern shore, serving a city shaped by General Motors Canada’s manufacturing history and now also home to Ontario Tech University’s expanding campus. The airport’s position within the Greater Toronto Area, typically under an hour from downtown Toronto, makes it a practical choice for guests whose destination lies in the eastern suburbs. The Exumas see their busiest private aviation traffic during the winter high season, when demand for slots at the island’s small terminal can rise sharply. Turboprops remain a popular choice for shorter island-hopping legs before onward connection, though for the direct sector to Ontario a jet is the more efficient option. This route suits owners of the Exumas’ well-known private cays, sailing charter guests, and seasonal residents travelling north for business, family or simply to escape the Bahamian summer heat. Private aviation demand into the Exumas has grown steadily over the past decade, and slot availability at the small terminal is worth confirming early during the peak winter months. A handful of resort operators on the island now also offer private lounge access for charter guests, smoothing the transition between beach and boarding.
