Private Jet Miami to Cavallo

Miami to Cavallo spans approximately 4,380 nautical miles, comfortably flown by a Gulfstream G550 or Bombardier Global 6000 on a nonstop transatlantic sector, both aircraft cruising efficiently between 41,000 and 45,000 feet with cabins designed for the kind of sustained comfort an eight-hour flight demands. Travellers can depart from Miami International Airport, Miami Executive Airport or Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport depending on preference and location, giving South Florida-based guests genuine flexibility in how they begin the journey. A short helicopter transfer at the destination end completes the route to Cavallo, a granite island within the protected Lavezzi Nature Reserve in the Strait of Bonifacio, positioned between Corsica and Sardinia. Miami’s vibrant, fast-paced coastal energy stands in deliberate contrast to Cavallo’s fixed, unchanging simplicity, where a handful of villas and one respected restaurant represent the entirety of what has been built on the island. South Florida’s well-travelled clientele has increasingly discovered Cavallo as a genuine alternative to more established Mediterranean hotspots, valuing its insistence on staying small even as demand has grown. Given the length of the crossing, an evening departure allowing for rest during the flight tends to suit most travellers best, arriving refreshed and ready for the onward helicopter connection. Booking well ahead of the peak European summer months remains advisable given the island’s inherently limited capacity. Having three viable South Florida departure points also gives travellers meaningful flexibility over ground transfer times, an advantage worth weighing depending on exactly where in the Miami area a trip begins. Guests connecting from cruises or yacht charters already based in the Bahamas or the wider Caribbean also sometimes route through Miami specifically to pick up this onward sector, making it a useful link in a longer multi-stop itinerary.
