Private Jet Monterey to Jersey City

Monterey and Jersey City are separated by a substantial 2,233 nautical miles, a true coast-to-coast crossing best handled by a mid-size aircraft such as a Challenger 350, cruising near 45,000 feet to clear the Sierra Nevada, Rockies and the weather systems that frequently build over the Plains. Monterey Peninsula Airport, set among the pines above Pebble Beach and the Monterey Bay coastline, serves a clientele drawn to the area’s golf courses, aquarium and celebrated wine country nearby, and its general aviation terminal reflects that relaxed, upscale character. The flight arrives near Newark Liberty International Airport, from where Jersey City’s dense skyline of financial and insurance towers along the Hudson is a short transfer away, with the PATH train and cross-river ferries providing quick onward access into Manhattan. Monterey’s economy, built around tourism, marine research and a number of high-profile golf and hospitality events including the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, draws a well-travelled visitor base that frequently maintains ties to the East Coast. Commercial service between the two typically requires a change of aircraft in San Francisco or Los Angeles, adding hours to what a direct charter completes in a single leg timed entirely around the traveller’s schedule. For those attending events on the Monterey Peninsula, or splitting time between California’s Central Coast and business interests in New York, the ability to fly non-stop matters considerably more than on shorter routes. This pairing particularly suits golf and hospitality industry travellers, executives with interests on both coasts, and families with homes in both Monterey County and greater New York.
