Private Jet Monterrey to Montauk

Monterrey, in Mexico’s industrial north, sits about 1,686 nautical miles from Montauk at Long Island’s eastern tip, a distance a light or mid-size jet covers in around three hours fifteen minutes. A Citation CJ4 offers a fast, efficient option for smaller groups, while a Challenger 350 adds cabin room for passengers who want more space over the crossing; both cruise comfortably near 43,000 feet, above most weather along the route. Flights depart from Monterrey International Airport, a well-equipped field used to international private traffic that keeps customs and ground handling efficient for outbound charters. Landing at Montauk brings a sharp change of scenery, from Monterrey’s mountain-ringed industrial skyline to a low, wind-scoured stretch of Atlantic coast. The village occupies the far eastern point of Long Island, its lighthouse dating to the 1790s and ranking among the oldest working lights in the country, presiding over a harbour still built around commercial fishing and a dedicated surfing community rather than resort glamour. Guests can be walking Montauk Point State Park or at a dockside table within a short drive of the runway. This route suits Monterrey business travellers with interests in the New York area, families with a summer property on the East End making the return trip after a stay in Mexico, or anyone who wants to skip the connection through a major US hub that a scheduled itinerary between these two cities would otherwise require. Chartered privately, the sector turns what would be a half-day of transfers into a single direct flight, timed to the traveller’s own schedule and landing them close to the water rather than at a distant regional terminal.
