Private Jet Nantucket to Tulsa

Nantucket and Tulsa lie approximately 1,252 nautical miles apart, a distance well suited to a Light Jet such as the Citation CJ4, a Super Mid-Size Jet such as the Gulfstream G280, or a Pilatus PC-12 turboprop, with flight time generally under three hours. Departures use Nantucket Memorial Airport, serving an island whose cobblestone streets, weathered shingle cottages and whaling history have made it one of New England’s most storied summer destinations. The route heads south-west across the eastern United States before descending into Tulsa, where the Art Deco downtown and riverside Gathering Place park present a strikingly different, landlocked setting after departing from one of the Atlantic’s most exclusive summer colonies. This pairing suits seasonal residents dividing their year between Nantucket and Oklahoma, along with families and executives who prize the island’s particular blend of understated wealth and maritime heritage. The choice between a light jet, super mid-size jet or turboprop depends largely on group size and baggage, since Nantucket traffic often ranges from a couple travelling for a quiet weekend to a full family group arriving for the summer season. Scheduled service between these two points is effectively non-existent outside the busiest summer weeks, and even then typically requires a connection through Boston or New York, adding hours to a trip a direct charter completes in under three. Ground handling at Nantucket Memorial is efficient despite seasonal congestion, and the moderate flight time makes this route practical for both quick weekend visits and longer seasonal relocations. The island’s cranberry bogs and lighthouses at Sankaty Head and Great Point add further texture for repeat visitors, well beyond the harbour-front shops most first-time guests see on a short summer visit.
