Private Jet Pebble Beach Golf Links to Huntsville

The drive along 17-Mile Drive past Pebble Beach Golf Links gives way, for private travellers, to a rather different kind of journey east: roughly 1,721 nautical miles to Huntsville, Alabama, a transcontinental sector well suited to a super mid-size jet such as the Gulfstream G280 or a mid-size Challenger 350, both able to cover the distance nonstop while cruising near 45,000 feet, above the marine layer and mountain wave activity that can complicate departures from California’s central coast. Flying out of Monterey Peninsula Airport, golfers, executives and their families avoid the drive to San Jose or San Francisco that a commercial itinerary from this stretch of coastline would typically demand, and can depart within minutes of finishing a round or a meeting. Huntsville International Airport delivers arriving passengers close to NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center and the Redstone Arsenal, the institutions that gave the city its Rocket City identity, and to Cummings Research Park, one of the largest research parks in the United States and now home to a dense cluster of aerospace and technology employers. The University of Alabama in Huntsville continues to expand the region’s engineering talent pool, and downtown, Bridge Street Town Centre and the historic Twickenham district give visitors somewhere pleasant to spend an evening between meetings, while the Tennessee River offers a quieter contrast to the Pacific coastline left behind. This pairing suits Monterey Peninsula residents and golf travellers with business interests in Alabama’s aerospace corridor, as well as executives who would rather begin their journey from a quiet coastal airfield than fight traffic to a larger regional hub for a flight of this distance, arriving refreshed rather than worn down by a full day of connections.
