Private Jet Punta Mita to Akron

Punta Mita’s resort coastline on Mexico’s Pacific Riviera Nayarit gives way, across 1,729 nautical miles, to the quite different scenery of northeast Ohio, a crossing suited to a heavy jet such as a Gulfstream G450, which climbs strongly clear of the coastal mountains on departure before settling into a cruise of roughly three and a half hours north toward the Midwest. Departures use Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport in nearby Puerto Vallarta, serving Punta Mita’s exclusive resorts and residential communities along this stretch of Pacific coastline. Arrival into Akron-Canton Airport brings travellers within reach of Swensons, the drive-in burger chain founded in Akron in 1934 whose carhops still take orders through the car window exactly as they did nine decades ago, a beloved piece of local tradition that has since spread across the wider region. This route suits resort and real estate executives connecting Riviera Nayarit with business or family interests in Ohio, as well as leisure travellers extending a Pacific coast holiday with onward business in the Midwest. The heavy jet’s range and comfort make the three-and-a-half-hour crossing an easy one, and the direct flight spares travellers the layover a connection through a Texas or California gateway would otherwise add to a journey that already covers a considerable stretch of the continent. For developers and resort groups whose investors and partners are increasingly based in the American Midwest, the ability to fly directly between the two regions removes a meaningful amount of friction from what would otherwise be a demanding multi-stop itinerary.
