Private Jet Nantucket to Port St. Lucie

Nantucket sits around 982 nautical miles from Port St Lucie, a classic New England-to-Florida seasonal sector well suited to a light or mid-size jet such as the Citation CJ4, with a Challenger 350 available for larger groups making the trip with extra luggage. Flight time runs a little under two hours, and cruise altitudes near 39,000 feet keep the aircraft clear of the coastal weather that frequently affects the Northeast, particularly during the shoulder seasons when the island’s charter traffic peaks and demand for departure slots tightens considerably around holiday weekends. Nantucket Memorial Airport is one of the busiest general aviation fields in New England during summer, geared toward exactly the kind of seasonal migration this route represents. Port St Lucie, the counterpoint on the Florida side, trades cobblestone streets and grey-shingled cottages for the St Lucie River and the Indian River Lagoon, an entirely different but equally water-centred way of life. The PGA Village golf complex has become a familiar winter destination for many of the same families who summer on Nantucket, while the Tradition district offers a newer residential option for those extending their Florida stay each year, and the Savannas Preserve rewards a slower morning walk. This route is, in many respects, a seasonal migration route in miniature: Nantucket regulars heading south as the New England autumn sets in, and returning again each spring. Private charter accommodates that rhythm far more comfortably than the limited and often full commercial connections available between the two, particularly at the peak of each seasonal shift.
